Pleased to learn that you're fairly ok mate, shame you wiped out.
Fwiw I've never actually crashed on that corner. I've had some nasty moments though, and the exit to the next corner -barn has been something of a nemesis for me (especially when damp or littered with leaves).

I just got a text from a mate telling me about a No Limits evening this Friday for just £45, so I suspect I may be going down there to collect some fine Lincolnshire turf for myself.

Fitted new pads and then poured brake fluid over them (blush)

Not sure how much or an upgrade they will be now :?

It's supposed to go in the plastic pot at the other end of the lines ;)

I'm paranoid about spilling that stuff. My bike looks like it's having keyhole surgery when I do the brake fluid as I've got towels covering anything that could get splashed with it.

I fitted new pads then decided to bleed the brakes.

Was using a new bleed hose and either it's not quite as good fit as the old one or I hadn't fitted it on securely.

Anyway it flipped off and I did a few pumps of the lever before I noticed. Brake cleaners was to hand and sprayed on straight away and the pads were out in less than 2 minutes flat before getting a good clean. Fortunately I got to them quickly and as new still had protective paint on the faces so don't think anything to worry about.

Will give them a good testing tomorrow on some private roads (lol)

I better check my bike over, this will be the first time I've even started the engine this year.! Image

Nice ride in this morning. No idea why but the roads are relatively quiet for that time of day.

It might be time to put on the dark visor.

Dropped a second hand tail tidy off to get shot blasted and powder coated at lunch time. Should get it back Friday lunch. Found a local place that does small batch items and no postage. Winner.

Took the long way home, which was a mistake as there was loads of traffic and some roadworks on the way. Oh well.

One has a nicer arse and the other one bucked teeth, I'd probably do both of them though to be honest.
