time to break out the shotguns...

Happy Birthday to "not so little" miss! (party)

Actually happens to be my sister's birthday today too.

My daughter is 25 this year. Makes me feel even older. Oh I am old :( Silly me
It is better to arrive 30 seconds late in this world than 30 years early in the next

IMHO you are very lucky in so many ways Kwacky. :P
You're a smart lad. You'll have a good idea of the stresses & strains that are to come. You can't possibly avoid it, that's just natures way. So perhaps you should just try to enjoy it.??

Fwiw I'm the oldest of my siblings, by some stretch (my poor parents took a while to come to terms with the runt, before they continued the litter) & one of my nephews was 30 the other day.
So you can all happily feel quite young now. ;)

I do count myself lucky - I've got a very good relationship with both of my kids. I hope that continues.

It's "that age" isn't it??

Tough one....best thing I could offer would be to be easy on her...their going to make mistakes (and so will you), & that's the part of life they'll have to learn from...or not. You just have to find that balance of being there and not being there for them...you steer them in the right direction and hope they follow the right course...they'll waver, but don't stress about it too much...the more you rule with an iron fist, the more they will rebel.

PS...my son is 15 and serving life without parole.

Happy parenting.

(lol) (lol)

Yeah....he's doing fine....I don't get to see him much at the moment because of various family reasons...but that's prolly for the best. That may sound a bit daft....but I just really can't go into detail about it ATM....legal stuff & all that.

Feckin' lawyers!! :D
