That's hash browns I take it? Not dark skinned people or small pockets of heroin?

Yeah....'hash' browns, country style potatoes (usually chunkier), shredded potatoes, etc....all basically the same thing...Kwacky wrote:That's hash browns I take it? Not dark skinned people or small pockets of heroin?
Although the right darkskinned lass and some heroin definitely has some potential as a breakfast option in the future.

More what I'm not eating, a steak so full of gristle etc I couldn't get one mouthful out of it. It got sent back and my entire bill was wiped off. No appetite after that, but in the same hotel tomorrow night.

It's a brave man who will eat from the kitchen of a chef that he sent the food back to yesterday.

Re: What are you eating ??
You forget I know how it works in a restaurant, the secret is not to start shouting and getting grumpy, be sympathetic - the chef and foh staff can't help the fact that a meat buyer was either incompetent or bent and signed off on a sub-standard consignment. The establishment loses the entire price of that meal (not just the steak) and have to supply another meal, it all comes out of their bottom line, which means they miss targets and bonuses. It's the reason trusted suppliers are key to to a restaurant surviving.
I'll have no probs eating here tomorrow StM, but I probably won't have a steak.
Not out of the country at present, but back in the land of beer and bratwurst in a couple of weeks.

Re: What are you eating ??
Cheeseburger and fries with a Diet-Coke to keep my svelte figure to it's usual trim rotund form.
Why is it at close to 50, with only moderate exercise at the moment, I can eat as much crap as possible each and every day and still be the same weight as I was 30 years ago??
It defies logic.
