Re: What are you doing today ??
I knew as soon as I typed that someone would reply with that!
I have two blocks up at the house. One is nicely landscaped (house is on that one) and takes about an hour to sort. The second drops sharply down to a creek and then back up a reasonable incline. It's heavily wooded and you can only mow (like a mountain goat) about 2/3 of it. The rest is done with the line trimmer.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Trying to help a friend remove his stupid fecking annoyingly stubborn car stereo thing for 90 mins. just to have some jobsworth from down the road come and pull the whole thing out in about 11.5 seconds....I think his "Gimme a shout if you need help putting it back" remark was just to rub salt in the wound.
Then I went for a walk......and the heavens opened.....luckily for me I'd left my hat and jacket on the bed.

Wondering how some of the solicitors I have to deal with get themselves dressed, let alone pass the exams needed to qualify.

Working my ass off on a myriad of small jobs at a customers, just got finished and another operator came over and has an attack of "what-about-some-love-for-me-too-itis", basically he wanted me to repeat 8hrs graft on his machine because it's newer and he feels left out - not because that machine has issues. Needless to say I read him his fortune.

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.
Moved out of the cabin yesterday and now getting it ready for the vacate inspection tomorrow. I've been doing a room and then inspecting like I would've when I was a Dorm Corporal back in the Air Force. If the agent finds anything wrong I'll be very surprised!
Technically homeless at the moment. I don't get possession of my house back till end of April. But I'm out to work for three weeks on Tuesday so it's all good!

Fitting a new loft ladder, which means a re-engineer of the way the loft hatch works and making a new loft hatch.
Also took the back door apart as the deadlock mechanism was stuck. Cleaned and lubed it all up, and it works nicely again now.
Ending the day chilling out with beer and pizza. Looking forward to work tomorrow for the rest.
