I wish I could say something useful, by I just don't know what to say.

Thoughts and best wishes from the nutz household are with you. And if there's anything I can do, you only have to ask.

Following the medical meeting they had we went to see the surgeon and his team on Tuesday this week

We were told that they had discussed the scans at the medical meeting and one of the tumours is compressing her brain stem ... thats problematic and is causing dizzyness and will stop the fluids from reaching the brain
He ran through the proceedure and the op and the possible outcomes, both good and the bad and told us that he wanted to get he in as soon as Friday

So we spent a nice day together and I took her in this evening where she had more MRI's and then made comfy in ward for the night

We dont know what time the op is or whether she'll be allowed visitors.
We've had a laugh and a giggle today, like 2 naughty school kids on their first date but it was a little tearful leaving he there tonight when I got kicked out

As posted on her facebook page ....

Well that was a long day ....
Jo went to theatre just after 9 this morning and was finally taken in to Intensive Care 4.1/2 hrs later. Im happy to say that she is quite bright, chatty but understandably sore. Dosed up on morphine and other pain killers but needs rest, the more the better.
The surgeon has been to see her and said he's cleared out everything he could see and that Radiotherapy will treat the rest. He's happy that it has gone as well as expected, so if he's happy, then so am I (sweat) :)

I've told her about all the well wishes and offers of help and support which put a smile on her face. (Including on here)
Hopefully she'll be out of ICU tomorrow and back in her Penthouse side ward but its going to be a slow recovery ... thanks again X

.............

So as you can see, its a positive step (y)

Thanks for your well wishes (inlove)

From her FB page today

Not too good today .....
She's off the heavy drugs and you can see she's in a little discomfort.
They did warn us this could happen and I guess the body needs to fight its own battle without the aid of drugs. She has slept most of the day and isn't as alert but hopefully every other day from here should be an improvement .... Now where's the beer (beer)
