As was this...

I was dubious when I got on it, but after one ten minute ride, I was thinking about looking on Autotrader, tbh. :D

I'm pleased you liked it. But that didn't fit in with my joke.

Not sure in what way it looks less transformer than the MT10, though. In fact, not as nice looking to these eyes.

I'm not a particular fan of Kawasaki's offering beyond the ZX range if I'm honest.. all the 'hot' naked stuff IMO is European

That's fair enough. I'm happy with the SX and I like the look of the ZZR.

Don't get me wrong, if I rode one I would probably love it.. it's just they don't do anything for me. Even my ZX6R doesn't do anything for me really, it's a bloody good tool for spanking it around the track but it doesn't have a great deal of character

Of the limited number of bikes I have ridden, not many.

The most characterful bike I have ridden was my Aprilia SX125 (2 stroke). After that the SV650S > Aprilia SL Falco> 2005 R1 > my ZX6R > 2012 GSXR 1000

One thing I have noticed looking through those bikes is that the more capable bikes are least characterful... maybe it is just that the bikes do everything so well I find them a bit plain?

My old gsxr 750 had bags of character the induction noise and engine was epic Shame they looked like shellsuits and were made of cheese
My current zx10 is like a mental 600 to ride and has character by the bucket load
I've read from a few owners of bmw s1000rrs that they feel a bit soulless but are probably a better all round bike

I rode my mates GSXR 750 K4/5 and hated the thing. Whether the previous owner had tinkered with the suspension and made stupid adjustments or what it just felt horrendous to ride. Uncomfortable, surprisingly slow, horrendous bar 'buzz' when off the throttle, the front tyre kept sliding out on me and the brakes had good initial bite then nothing to back it up.

The best bike I've ridden in terms of performance is my ZX6R though.. not sure if bias is dictating that decision ;)
