It'll be shoulders this aft for me, I'll be pushing as hard as I can whilst being mindful of my dicky shoulder.

Yesterday saw me working the bag.

I'm still unfit!

I took a short video to see how I was doing as opposed to how I thought I was doing.

Points noted:
1. I'm not as slow as I think I am. Not lightning quick, but not the lumbering oaf I feel like!
2. I have a tendency to telegraph my punches.
3. I have a tendency to WILDLY telegraph my kicks.
4. When wearing a vest, my arms look okay when I land a punch. Any other time they just look flabby!!!

I have to say I chuckled when reading through your points noted...

I'll be hitting chest tonight, back to the 2 plates. Think I might try for 2x25kg tonight as I did 5x8 with 20kg plates last week. Drop sets on all tricep exercises afterwards too then straight for a swim hopefully

Did the 2 x 25kg plates last night, absolutely fine.. going to do 3 x 20 plate next week which will be bloody difficult. After that I managed 34kg dumbells with ease - I've never tried more than 30 before so might start trying to go heavier on those too

Night off the gym tonight, I'm eaxhausted after leaving for work before 7am and getting home after 8pm

5 mile recovery run last night. Following a crap run on Sunday it felt great.

Rest day today, 5 mile tempo run tomorrow.

Bad times man.

It was going to be legs this morning, but my knee has been giving me jip lately, so I went back to sleep instead.

So I told myself I'd have a bag session tonight.

Now I have a sore throat and a cold and I'm not smashing anything!

5 mile tempo run last night, felt really good.

Got to cycle into work today as the cage failed it's mot and it's a bit icy so don't fancy ask the hassle of getting the bike out for a 7 mile journey.

Ugh. Sympathies. :|

Mine's not bad, but it's definitely telling me to be careful.

Not lifted any weights for just under a week and already I feel like a blob. It's surprising how addictive going to the gym can become.

Cycled into work today, it's only 6 miles but there are a couple of good hills.

After this weeks running my legs are fecked. 2 rest days coming up.

Need to try and fit back and shoulders into the gym tonight but not sure I'll be able to. I might end up just going on the treadmill at home in preparation for football tomorrow

I pushed myself on legs yesterday...

160kg squats for 4 (really wobbly after the last one so I called it a day)

322.5kg leg press for 3

My target of 2x bodyweight for squats is definitely achievable! :)

I went to the gym yesterday but I think the combination of a good night's sleep and a big breakfast left me with no energy. I gave up when I realised I was struggling on the warm up set of deadlifts.

Sometimes that's the best way, to realise when it's not worth it.
I had the beginnings of a headache a couple of weeks ago, thought it'd be alright. Turns out it wasn't. You can bench press your way through many things, a headache is not one of them. It put me out of action for the day.

Speaking of out of action, my sore throat/massive ulcer combo has been stopping me from training recently. I haven't done anything worth speaking of for about a week.

I should get time to do a monster session tomorrow, fingers crossed.
