Yep, but look at this. 2015 model, 8.5k interest free and an Akropovic can

I wouldn't call that worth it personally...

Is this going to be a road only bike?

Both, but I normally change the rear shock anyway and will be set up by Darren at MCT

Was so busy yesterday. I ordered some new bits for the bike (see postman thread), took the mut out for a nice run, then cleaned the whole house top to bottom, which took a couple of hours. Then had tried to ring the jewelers because my missuses ring hasn't turn up yet since well before Christmas, but they never answered!

Then took a shower. Went out to my partners parents house fo drop of the mut. Headed to town had a Cosmo. Went into the said shop as I am very fed up now and what did I see. 4 fecking staff with about 15 customers in the shop. OK its busy the staff have a lot to do hence not answering the phone the 4 times I rang them...but oh wait, 1 of them was on a sale and 3 of them were laughing and talking at bathe back of the shop not in the bit interested in the fecking customers...what the feck!

I roped over the girl who had just done a sale and said to her right im hot happy now I've tried to ring and you NEVER ANSWER, this has been a month and half etc etc find out what's going on what did she reply with, oh I apologise we are very busy, I thought yes YOU aren't hose 3 bimbos Anthe back aren't they making you do all the decking running around...she apologised and took the receipt and goes to talk to these 3 ladies...not one of them had s decking clue what to do. All of them panicked ALL of them were trying to write down the reference number...WTF there were customers waiting to be served and they just were all morons and tried to deal with this one situation.

Anyway out not these 4 and 15 mins of them trying to figure of the fecking order number (I could of done it quicker without knowing the bloody systems) they then called a fith woman from the office who said she was the woman who was dealing with the problem as she gave me 2 options, I wait for the new one to arrive or get another ring resized and it should be ready on Friday.

I have gone for the Friday option!!

From there has to pick up the mutt then decided go go swimming so dropped the mutt to my partners came home got my and my partners stuff ready then had an hour swim came home watched a flick then fell asleep...it was a busy day yesterday.

Did some gardening yesterday, seems to be the best time of year to totally destroy the garden, but stand a chance of it being usable by summer.

Finished off seeding some new lawn area today. Then kids party this afternoon, now drinking wine to recover...

Today is Mini Gee's 13th Birthday, so we had a family lunch yesterday in celebration, sadly just as we served coffee my Mother suffered a minor stroke.

She's still with us, with no discernable damage but I spent all of last night with her in A&E trying to find out what had happened, how bad things were and whether this was a precursor of something worse.

Mum feels terrible about spoiling the little fellas day, but no one chooses stuff like this to happen, so apologies are redundant, you wouldn't know this morning that anything had happened to her, although all the rest of the family are shattered and have been through the emotional wringer thinking we were losing her as we watched.

Finger crossed today is a better day for everyone.

Thanks Kwacky, whilst I've got the chance I'd just like say thank you to everyone involved in Mums treatment yesterday, the NHS and in particular our local hospital in Colchester have come in for a lot of stick (sometimes from myself), however yesterday they were exemplary.
Possibly the best experience I've ever had with a hospital at any time - including private, it goes without saying I wish it hadn't happened at all.

P.S. I shall be sending a letter of thanks to the Departmental Head and reporting back. DG

A nice thing to do. I've dropped a box of chocolates into the appropriate ward before now. Some wards just seem to be better run than others within the same hospital.
Best wishes to your family and happy birthday to mini Gee.

If you don't mind me asking, howcome you're going for a brand new bike? You could get a 1 year old for £2k less

I'm not necessarily, just looking at all the options. Can't afford a nearly new bike, as I've only got 5k to spend but the 0% finance on a new bike from Kawasaki is very tempting.

To be honest though I keep coming back to a 2010/2011 ZX6R with low mileage for around 4k to 5k. Or possibly a D675! Definitely the most bang for my buck and I'm trying to buy a bike with my head this time.

Might go and have a look at this one, more than I wanted to pay but it's a 2012 reg with 1225 miles on it and the dealer does 0% finance. Seriously 1225 miles, the previous owner should be shot!

@Deegee. Very sorry to hear about your mum hope she is recovering well. That's very good of you to send a card it's always nice to hear what the NHS does right instead of what they do wrong.

Also happy birthday to your lad hope it is a good day for him...hope all get cake!!
