Cars with my little lad. Great film
The opening 5 minutes has some amazing surround sound and some of the best I've heard.

Re: What you watching?
When was that on, I wanted to watch that forgot all about it...but the fact it's in subtitled I think I'll give it a miss, you always have to watch it 3 times..once to read it and once to watch it then the third time to re-read the subtitles to remind yourself of what's going on from the last time haha!!Kwacky wrote:deutschland 83
I was hoping it would be in English at least in parts, but even the Americans are speaking German.
Looks good though. It's about an East German soldier sent over to West Berlin to spy on a West German army officer.

Re: What you watching?
Ha ha I have just watched Deutschland 83, recorded on my box. Well worth a watch, I am so glad they have added a sound track from the era, it brings it home, the history developing in our life time, back then I was just a young pup, no idea of what was going on in the world to be honest.
My main concern was where can I score next ha ha on both counts.... Not world issues at all. But hearing the music I can piece together a timeline in my head of what I was doing when this was taking place.
I was expecting it to fade out on the German and evolve into English, never happened lol, looking forward to the next instalment.

Re: What you watching?
I watched it with my daughter. Trying to explain the concept of a split city in a split country, with nukes ready to use on its own soil and how we all knew we could die with no more than 5 minutes warning was a bit tough for her to comprehend.

It's a good series. I thought the ideas would dry up after season 2 but they've done well to keep it fresh.

Actually it's probably like living with me, my doctor had me tested for bi-polar last year apparently I wasn't quite crazy enough to qualify!

Deutschland 83 has got me hooked. I can't wait for the next episode.
And it's got a banging soundtrack as well.
