I have 3 for my bike... I thought that was excessive (although I can argue the case for each of them!)Kwacky wrote:How many cans do you own now?Spudda wrote:just secured a 300mm big bore Blue Flame carbon fibre oval exhaust off ebay for £32.00 ... arrived today and looks pukka

Got an ipod shuffle for £22 instead of £40 in the Black Friday sales. Good deal as Apple don't usually budge on price.

Happy days!
I love using a brand new visor. Something quite rewarding about being able to see where you're going clearly!

Re: Mr Postman
For me Cav it's about it being able to lock into position and not let any water in!! Went out on Sunday and it peed it down, water was in the inside of the visor. trying to wipe it away but not succeeding haha

Re: Mr Postman
Totally agree Rossgo. Not tried it yet but one of two neat features on my new Lorenzo Rep lid is you have a central locking mechanism for thr visor. Very easy to operate one handed apparently.

Re: Mr Postman
That central locking mechanism is almost the same as the one on my AGV Corsa. It works extremely well but as its a race helmet there is no resistance on the visor ratchet so you cannot ride with the visor open.

Re: Mr Postman
Ahh I see.. Well I've experienced far less issues with my HJC than my Arai with water getting in although the vents on the visor itself are a godsend!!
The central locking position of the HJC is great as you can use either hand to lock/unlock the visor plus you don't have to push down the side opposite to the lock in order to get a seal. The only issue for me with the HJC is that it isn't particularly easy to leave the visor partially open.
One thing I find entertaining, if you leave the visor up and do a race-style launch, as soon as I get to 2nd gear (80mph) the visor shuts itself!!
