I'm liking the look of the new multistrada enduro very much.

Isn't it TUV approved parts only in Germany?

How different is this to now?? Most bikers, myself included, have a pre-mot check list of stuff that has to be replaced to pass...
Not sure what you mean Nutz. Currently I have free choice of which exhaust I fit it doesn't have to be the kawasaki approved Akrapovic end can.

They are very unlikely to fail an MOT on noise. I've got my 748 through twice now without changing the cans and they have no baffles at all.

Its when they bring emission testing to bikes we will have a problem.

My thoughts exactly and I'm betting my next bike will be the last one I can do what I want with.

What upgrades has it over the 899 as unless it's a quantum leap I think I would rather have a 899

I think the days of quantum leaps forward are over for the time being as they all have to be able to pass Euro 4 limits this time next year to be allowed to be sold.

I think it has the lower swingarm pivot point and revised bodywork as per the 1299 and a little more torque and power but otherwise its as per the 899 plus the xtras to pass the new limits.

Tbh I would rather have a 899 with the free termi's on that basis and I reckon quite a few others might feel the same and 899 values harden imo.

That's a great review and very useful. I'd love one when their used but I can't afford a £13k plus bike tbh. I still think it's a lot for a bike.

I don't disagree, Cookie.

I've looked back at the miles i have done this year and aside from the Germany trip i do wonder if the expense justifies the cost even though i love my bikes.

I need to make some changes to my work/life balance before buying any new bikes as i have not had enough free time to enjoy them over the last 18 months.
