Tbh I would imagine only the larger suspension companies with big budgets for R&D will be able to apply the resources needed to perfect the technology.

Obviously Ducati have ties with Audi and BMW have their own car division so both of those players have info to share with the bike suspension specialist companies as semi active suspension has been in cars for years I believe.

From speaking to a few racers, K-tech trumps Ohlins.

For the same cost you get a better shock with the low-speed bypass valve. This effectively makes it 5-way-adjustable and not just 4 like most standard shocks. (Preload, rebound, hi compression, lo compression)

If it were my money, for a new shock under £1000 I would get the Nitron Race Pro shock. For Ohlins money I would get the K-tech Pro shock.

Truthfully, I will get a benefit from most shocks over stock as will most people so really it comes down to price and resale.
