Just watched it again , the pani is a bit underwhelming for me, I do like the look of the new more off road versions of the DVT though, very nice.

Just read the 959 has a 10 bhp increase which is great, but not so good is the 7kg weight increase mainly generated by the new shotgun exhausts.

I guess the same exhaust will appear on the 1299 eventually. Maybe now is the golden time to buy a Ducati sportsbike before Euro4 ruins the looks of a design icon.

I fancy a nearly new Panigale 1299 in about a years time. They are currently offering the 1299 with free Akrapovic exhausts so hopefully a low miler with plenty of bling will be available for sensible...ish money.

I guess termigoni and akrapovic are loving the new 959 exhaust.

I imagine a race system won't need all the cats required to meet Euro4 regs.

There is a full Akra race system available but they usually cost megabucks. I suspect Ducati may have to offer this as a freebie to get some bikes on the road.

May go back to my original idea of an early 1199 and make it what i want, or wait a few years for a s/h 1299.

That's what I'd do. Aftermarket exhaust fitted straight away. They aren't restricted to the regs OE are.
