Sharm Bomb Concerns

Looks like the Russian airbus which crashed the other day could have been taken down by some kind of explosive.

All UK flights out of Sharm have been suspended until further notice.

Could it have anything to do with Russia starting bombing ISIS targets in Syria ?

We should have nothing to do with the middle East. Iraq, Iran, Syria, the Arab States, Israel.. Leave them all to it.

Sadly we've been blind to this problem. We've been addicted to oil and selling them arms.

We've created this problem of All Qaeda, ISIS, mujahedeen and all of the other groups out there.

We've let the Saudis fund the nutters and given free licence for the nutters to spread their hate and propaganda.

I'm not surprised an airliner has been bombed. I am surprised it's taken this long.

We went to Sharm 3 years ago and through that airport. It is terrible.

Sharm as a resort it a shit hole anyway. And full (and I mean full) of obnoxious Russians. I went 20 years ago and it was a nice, clean reasonable sized place. The Egyptians have over expanded it and filled it full of naff hotels and destroyed the reef on the edge with too much tourism and not enough control.

No one is missing anything not going anymore sadly.

I don't think it's 'we' that have created this problem, its our politicians who seemingly have no interest in the people who they should represent and put them in a position of trust in the first place.

They should spend more time making the UK a better place to live than meddle in affairs that are of no concern of ours as a Nation.

We have looked at Sharm for a family holiday for the last few years but never been as if you look at foc advice there has always been a high risk of terrorism and unessecary travel advised against.

According to the news this morning apparently people intending to travel to Sharm who now can't may not be covered by their insurance.

It depends when you are going to Sharm. If you have a flight during the period the Home Office advises you not to go then you should be covered. If you're going afterwards but don't want to go then you're not covered.

There will always be exceptions but that's the general rule.

There is no alternative when it comes to making a vote though. They are all part of the same undemocratic system whichever Party they belong to. We had an opportunity to change the voting system a few years ago but the two main parties made sure that did not happen.

If some one somewhere tries to take an alternative view in Parliament, the media vilify them as nutters.

You will never get change under our current voting system.

They are sending rescue flights to Sharm to bring back stranded holiday makers who have had their original flights cancelled.

Confused there still sending commercial aircraft to fly people home.

They say it's different because thr rescue flights will be subject to extra security. But surely that is done by ground staff so they could have just done it anyway on original scheduled flights.

Am I missing something what's thr advantage of the rescue flights ?
