The plot for the spin off film has been announced - it's about the rebels who get the plans for the Death Star

I cant wait for all this. seeing han and cheewie together was great.

I had heard a while back there was going to be a spinoff of red squadron, I now assume they meant rogue one.

I am so excited for this movie. It looks soo good and so much like the same style as the original.

Makes me want to go out and buy all my old starwars stuff again.

The press releases we've had so far certainly suggests that it's gone back to the way Stars Wars was intended. I think Disney have realised that their main audience are us middle aged blokes who watched the first 3 films when we were kids. The new audience will come along regardless, most of them will be our kids.

In true Disney style it looks like there are going to be some spin offs. There's a Han Solo film being touted, which is supposed to be what he gets up after Return of the Jedi. Probably goes on a warm holiday to thaw out.

Yeah....the second trio of movies were just lacking in so many ways....annoying child Anakin grows up into even-more-annoying adult Anakin, etc.

And I've already booked tickets for the Saturday :D

My son doesn't like 3D so I've booked into a normal cinema, but I'll still go and watch it on IMAX when it comes out.

cool.
I found the quality better on normal film. Pictures seem crisper compared to HD. But maybe the place I go is just crap for 3D cinema.

Goosebumps. Agreed.

Looks dirty and grubby like the first one. Well done Abrams. Wonder if he will be allowed to remake the other shitty new ones.

That said. ......and this is maybe a bit early for a grumble........

But that new droid looks silly.
