Looks like this week is the last of the decent weather. Friday is supposed to be warm and sunny then it's all over after that.

Summer has been rubbish pretty much since the schools finished in July. Best month i think was actually April.

Having warm and dry springs seems to be the norm now.

Getting worse and worse now, I can't remember many nice days this year in all honesty. Winter is on her way and she's waiting to throw a shot storm at us I'm sure of it!

Can't be all that bad surely. I've done over 6000 miles his year and 95% of that has been in the dry.

Oh yes sorry I should of added...I mean during the weekend...its always been lovely through the week, leaving work in the warm then the weekend comes and its been meh or raining haha!! Don't get me wrong I hate it hot as theres no escaping it, in the cold you can wrap up. I remember one day I went out and the weatherman said it will be glorious 24 or something degrees so I wore my kevlars and leather jacket for a pootle down town and it was freezing and then rained!

As Rossgo pointed out, the week days have been drier. I've lost track of the times I've been at work and it's been dry outside, I've planned a ride out for the weekend but had to cancel due to rain.

Tbh I have for the last few years found evenings the driest time. Regardless of what day it is, it can be wet all day and be very pleasant in the evening. That's why I bought a helmet with an internal visor as very regular for me to be out early evenings these days. The added bonus is the cops have gone home and the traffic is light.

You could call it a win, win, win As in dry, no old bill and light to no traffic.

My favourite riding time is summer evenings.

As you say, no plod and little traffic to spoil the ride.

I reckon we should do a mid summer evening ride out to wales next year. Stop the night in a decent hostelry and ride back the next evening.

I have been working weekends most of this year so I seem to have missed the worst weather and it's not felt like it's been a bad year when I have only had a few lectures to go to and then having a nice weekday afternoon. there have been a couple of bad days but it's been a bit changeable too from one day to the next at times.

It's been glorious on the south coast for the last couple of days. When it does shine the sun in the UK is lovely.

Unfortunately was tied down with honey-do list, but tomorrow is supposed to be the same and the bike is ready to go
