Riding it or changing the front wheel bearings.

The weather is going to be deciding my next move (blush)

Reminded how well the M7rrs do in the wet. I got caught in a downpour on the way home but didn't have to back off.

My white bike is now very very dirty looking.

Kwacky she needs to get a bit dirty, she hasn't been used for ages, she's like a dog rolling in muck. she just wants to let her pack know where she's been [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

Looks reet good that Mick!

I picked up a part that was missing from my order with Honda last week. Next on my list is a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder refurb kit, braided clutch line, friction plates and springs and an oil change. The service history is fully stamped and I have shit loads of paperwork but with no indication of any work on the clutch, so I'll change the lot seeing as though it could be on the original. If that's the case then I'd say it's due a refresh after 70400 miles!
Maybe I'll wait till winter has set in and get the wheels off to get them shot blasted and powder coated again and some new rubber.
I have my eye on a winter hack that could be at the right price and see me through till the VFR is sorted ready for spring.

Changed my broken foot rest with a new one. Doesn't look nearly as good, and feels slightly different but what can you do with a £7.99 part instead of 40 odd quid OEM part! Just need to test it out sure it will be fine

Ducati paint on their earlier bikes is the best of any manufacturer from that era, a fact confirmed to me by Mike at MES.

My 748 still polishes up a treat after 16 years.

Got it a rear tyre, eBay's not all bad.

25 notes for a used set of m7's in the correct profiles. Hopefully get the rear fitted soon and get back out on the road before the season ends properly..

That's an absolute steal (y)

I need another set of tyres again (facepalm)

This will be my 4th set this year. Not kept a tally but must be nearly the thick of a grand on rubber this year alone (blush)

Bloody hell blade, the most I've ever managed is two rears in one year. They where Dunlop qualifiers on the d6, and that was full ham fisted riding like I stole it miles.

How many miles you getting out of a year?

I normally get around 2000 miles although my current set have had a very easy life and done 3200 miles.

Tbh I've bought 4 sets this year as needed to replace 4 sets but not used them all as both the sp and ten have new tyres just installed which will last me the start of next year as well.

I like Pirelli Rosso Corsa tyres Rossgo (had 5 sets now) and I would rather have a tyre I'm confident on rather than worry about mileage, after all biking is all about fun and 2000 miles a set is doable.
