Not for a while. He's got some real life stuff to sort out. But he sends his love.

Yes that day was very clear in my mind as I rode that bend... slower than all the others for sure...

Rode the SX to work. The car is fine when the traffic is moving but you can't beat a bike for commuting.

Been there a few times myself Tricky and feel your pain.

Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away and try again tomorrow.

Took the 748 out for a thrash round the local backroads this morning.

Was having a lot of fun until coming out of one bend was a big tractor with long trailer pulling out of a field gate and blocking the whole road. (shocked)

So glad i have improved the brakes and suspension on that bike now otherwise it would be in many pieces...and probably me as well.

Replaced a leaky radiator, oil and filter change, and spent another hour trying to bleed the front brakes. After assembling, bleeding, disassembling i finally found the problem of why it wouldnt bleed up. Its a design flaw, the circlip holds the piston in, and the fat end of the spring sits on the circlip (pushing the piston pin/lever back out). With the dust jacket on i couldnt see what was going on, so i rebuilt it without it on, what was happening was the fat end of the spring isnt quite big enough to sit on the circlip, therefore it kept falling through it, which then stopped the piston from returning fully but still was strong enough to return the lever back to normal position. I replaced the spring with one which was much larger in diameter, and proceeded to bleed the brake in 2mins flat!!
PS. This repair kit was a genuine dealer part, not ching-chong.
PPS. I know youll all not be interested in this rant but i just needed to get it off my chest.

Managed to fit the exhaust valve servo eliminator this afternoon on the multi. Haven't had a chance to try it yet as it was a bit damp to say the least (rain)
Was out for a while on a bike related thing which I will divulge in a few days time. ;)
