There are loads to choose from, I went for this one as it's a splitter & a riveter, about £45 Just waiting for my new Rivet links to turn up.
Its made by Sealey but there are few companies selling the exact same item with their name on :D

Cheers Mick. TBH I m happy with splitting a chain as man there are many methods available as Rocket suggests, its more the riveting tool I would be interested in some feedback on as have read alot of bad reviews on riveters snapping or failing in use. If your happy would be good to hear how you get on with the riveter. I always find it best to get a review form soneone you know and trust. Cheers again Mick.

B&C Express have a selection here. As chains is the mainstay of their business, I don't think they will sell any old shite.

Striped off the fairings unplugged the reg rec quickly gave the connectors a quick spray down with WD40 then ordered a new ref rec for £58. The seller says it's brand new OEM part so think that's a good deal of its true.

Also had a message back from.the company who sold me the battery they have offered as reduced price Motobatt (£35 quid) so have decided to jump on it! All being well should be back on road next weekend.

Cheers Duke. I've heard good reviews on the Wale and Did tools but as I will only use it perhaps once maybe twice in the next 10 years was hoping for a slightly cheaper but good quality tool.

Basically I want the best for very little money, which is always my story (blush) I want my cake and to eat it as well.

Duke ... I have to say I have bike envy (envy)

Went in to Triumph Stratford today and they had a fully kitted Multi that had just come in on a p/x
Dripping in carbon, luggage and a nice stubby can

With it still being warm, the sales assitant started her up while I was sat on it.
Everything from the seating postion, the cockpit layout and the exhaust rumble made me a little moist (wasntme)

If I could justify the money and the bike then I would of sold a lung for it

They are fantastic Spuds, not a week has gone by since NZ that I haven't scoured the bike sales for Multi's.

Not the bike, but the HJC helmet I use for TD's I gave the visor and the outside a clean, then gave the inside a quick sniff, Jesus !!! Time for an overhaul, stripped all the inside out and gave it a good soak and a clean, just waiting for it to dry !. I was sweating a lot on the last TD as it was very warm !! And of course I'm fantastically fit...not. :D :D

Took the 748 put for a blast around some less familiar roads and had a fantastic ride in the countryside.

Its a bike that only works when on it.

Its was great fun on the quieter flowing roads but stuck behind traffic or back in town it makes no sense at all.

After my last ride when the front seemed to have less feel than usual, i checked the tyre pressures before the ride and the front was down to 29 psi cold. Upped it to 35psi and the the bike was so much better.
