eBay

Post by Kwacky »

A couple of weeks ago I put in a £180 best offer for a titanium can for the zx6r. It was for sale at £225. Offer rejected.

Can goes unsold

Can goes back on ebay.

This time with a buy it now off £225 but no best offers.

Can goes unsold.

Do I leave the buyer to rot or email him with a repeat offer of £180?

Tempting.

I didn't really want the can at the time but was bored so tried an offer.

It's one of these - ignore the crap way the carbon looks, it's the reflection

Thing is I don't need a new can but I would like one. I'm in no rush to change it.

I might go back with a reduced offer.

Is it back on ebay ?

I reckon we all ought to email telling him that weve noticed the can has gone unsold and we should all offer him £150 .....
Then Kwacky goes in with £180 (y) he'll snap his hand off :D

I don't understand why some people even list with best offer. I bought a camera case on eBay, only $20 but it had best offer, so I offering $18. Reasonable offer I thought. Got an long email back about how tight margins were and unit prices etc and the best they could do was $19.
Why even bother with best offer if you're not in a position to accept lower offers!!?

I'm selling some RC8 stuff at the moment and specifically set it up for no international delivery as I've got someone sending them out from the UK for me.

I get an email this morning to say I've sold one of my rear shock springs...... To a guy in Sweden, who then sends me a message saying I've bought the spring, how much to send it to Sweden. Twat. I really do hate eBay for selling :(

Got to agree there Kwacky. I don't mind selling bike kit on there as bikers always seem reasonable people in my experience but won't sell other stuff on there as too many idiots.

Would rather give away to friends or charity shops than deal with idiots.

Most of the household stuff we don't want goes to a couple of charity shops we know. Much better use of IMO rather than try and sell to some scummy type who'll use every trick going to get their money and the goods for free.

You keep taking of replacing the RC I'm guessing selling the bling is the start of that process.

When and what do you think you will get ?
