Had them on the D600 and used them on trackdays. I've not thought about them since

I guess it depends when you intend to use them.

I'm not a fan of lens covers, however speaking as someone that sees literally hundreds of bikes whilst I'm in traffic, (sadly I'm not on a bike here) a coloured lens cover really shows up in the mirrors whilst the rider is filtering, pretty much regardless of colour except the dark ones - they tend to make bikes less visible imho.

Making your self less visible would be my concern too. I have read they can cause issues with some bikes on making the lamps overheat and cracking the lenses.

They do look good on the top bike though.

I had them on my D6 and thought they looked ace. I love that pic of the Zx10r with them too. However, I do now think that the sacrifice in visibility is a concern.

I have heard of the cracking lens issue as well.

I like them for the track, they look frickin' awesome. Otherwise I don't like the idea of making yourself less visible

Don't buy them, the lens look is what all the cool kids go for these days, even on race fairings!

Thanks for all the comments.

I had the same concern about visibility but if you look in the second photo in the first post you will see there is a central light above the air intake and the lenes actually let quite a lot of light through.

The photos below are the same bike with the dipped beam on.

£25 is not going to make a difference Tbh.

I m undecided tbh, hence asking opinions which as always I appreciate.

I like the look of them Blade just very unsure about the 'being seen' aspect.

Yes that's the concern Rossgo, but in the pics the dipped beam seems OK to me.

I'm hoping Nutz will comment on what his setup is on his prilla

Are your lights on all the time on the ZX? If so won't it be a bit pointless to have them?

In the end mate, it's a personal decision, it's your bike and you have to be comfortable with it. Like you say they're only £15 so even if you get them and don't like them noty much has been spent.
