For some reason they have a little welded tap you need to tap of with a little chisel.

I think its for legal reasons when selling it as road legal. Probably silly silly loop hole in law they are getting around by doing it.

I once shot a truck with a baffle!

My dad was on the back of my TS50ER as I was dropping him off to pick up his car from the MOT. I was giving it the whole 3.5HP and about a gazillion revs doing nearly 30, with a truck sat about 2 meters behind me.

The bike had an electrical fault (Doggy HT lead) and it lost the spark filled the exhaust and then blew the baffle out straight through the headlight of the truck.

Think I spent more time pushing that bike than riding it, which ain't fun when you live on a hill!

It doesn't sound that much louder with it out,it sounds just right tbh I'm happy with it

Perks you been able to trigger the abs yet ?

I've not had the balls to function test it yet but did some pretty late braking today plus an emergency stop and it still didn't kick in.

I'm starting to think you would need to do a rolling stoppie on an oil slick before it will engage. To be completely honest I'm starting to think its not actually an abs model and just a sticker on the fairing, or Kawasaki abs is bloody impressive, I'm going with the latter though

Glad its out mate, and you managed to pull one off

All joking aside, I thought the same in that its not that much louder which is a good thing IMO. Nice sporty, throaty tone with out being annoying to us or offensive to others.

When I took the bikes out for a test ride two of them had ABS and I couldn't get it to kick in. On that basis I decided it was expensive and a pain in the arse so went for a model without it.

Tbh it is expensive at a £1000 and I wouldn't have paid extra for it myself, well not at that price, but my bike fortunately had it fitted by chance.

The fact it doesn't kick in easy is how it should be IMO. The fireblade system kicks in all the time and apparently is a big negative on track or fast road riding

Perks are you find the Arrow zorst sits very close to the swingarm.

Not sure if its my aftermarket exhaust bracket which is different to yours but my can sits millimetre's from the swingarm. Its never rubbed but its very close.

Yes it's close but doesn't touch,its my left boot that catches
Bike felt awesome to ride the last few days,the decat gives it some more midrange I reckon

Not really it was smooth before,it seems to have a lot more midrange grunt now though
