I had a quick look at the site, but being at work media streaming is blocked so I can't work out what is available.

I'll be at home from the 4th, so will I be able to watch it live on that site? And do they have catch up so I don't have to get up at 3 in the morning? (I will if I have too thou!)

Pity I'm not still at work when it's on then! We have FOXTEL out here but I don't at home. Looks like a lot of the content will be on YouTube too. I'll keep a lookout but seems they will be at least one way to see it.

Just priced some plane tickets from Manchester to IOM on the Saturday of the superbikes race for me and my two boys, thought a boys day trip would be good.

£877 return day trip. Factor in taxi, food and drink and will be £1100

Think we will go Chester zoo instead

It's got silly now. The ferry prices for a car or a couple of bikes now are frankly a pisstake. Even the classic TT is expensive as we looked at that for this year.

We tended to go every two years and this is the first year we haven't gone, mainly due to cost and how busy the roads have now become during TT week.

How much was classic TT ferry Cookie ?

I paid £400 ish I think 2 years ago at the first classic TT for a car, a bike, 2 adults and 2 kids.

Has it gone up ?

It was about 470 I think. I found a special deal of 260 but it had conditions on how long you stayed for. I didn't have time for 2 weeks there at the time.

I'm tempted when I next go to arrive and leave before the main event, ie 2.5 week holiday, but will have to see. That may well be cheaper.
