Caliper theft? Blimey. No brakes and fluid all over your bike, how gutting.

It took me a moment to realise. I thought they had snipped through a wire cable lock at first.

Wankers. Not sure how you stop people doing that. I suppose they were brembo calipers?

Fooking w@nkers.

To quote a line form pulp fiction "almost worth them doing it to catch the fookers" (swear)

I know its not right and not trying to be clever but one of the reasons I go to bike racing events in the car is bike bling theft.

Unfortunately its nothing new and race event carparks are the perfect place for these scum bags. Full of sports bikes with lightweight expensive bling that can be removed in seconds with simple tools and a bug market for parts.

Rearsets, steering dampers, exhaust etc.. All removed with two or three Allen screws in seconds.

Similar attitude to Blade, I remember seeing pics of a Ducati in MCN yrs back, it was one of the 916 R derivatives, the owner came back after the racing to find all his bodywork gone.

Have to say though cutting calipers off is the lowest trick I've seen, I hope karma redresses the balance for them in some unpleasant and imaginative way.

I hope the calipers they nicked had seized pistons (bandit)
