We really let those people down.
Imho everyone, on all sides, were comprehensively f*cked over as a result of those Bush/Blair crusades. Waste of : lives, money, infrastructure and everything else..

You're pushing at an open door. An utter waste of time, lives and money.

Did you watch it? One of the soldiers said the same thing.

No I didn't Kwacky. Watching those programmes just increases my levels of anger and bitterness.

I guess you don't recall back when 675.cc was at it's peak, I lost a lot of favour from the substantial portion of forces & ex-forces members when explaining my views of the BB crusades.
Fwiw I fully understand why they could not bring themselves to consider it back then, but suspect that given the passage of time since, and the outcomes, a good proportion of them may now have opinions closer to mine than those they declared themselves back then.

I didn't read 675cc that much. I'm sorry to hear about that fall out.

I wasn't a fan of Blair, I never trusted him. He'll always be remembered for the Iraq war. But he did do a lot of good for the country.

It does bemuse me that the people who shouted at me for being a traitor when I joined the Stop the War protests are now several years later agreeing with me.

"Rush"
......seen it before, but TBH I'd forgotten just how good it really is.....they really nailed the feel of the '70s. All things considered, I think it's an absolute gem of a movie.
