Debating on whether to go for another long bicycle ride today, or wait until tomorrow.....I've got a few hours in which to decide.
....And by long, I only mean 20 miles or so........the pedals don't turn like they used to.

The running club has their relay race this weekend and I'm Des.

It's going to be a long day tomorrow, with most of it spent behind the wheel of this beast. Should be a laugh you.Image

I took my Son to the National Kit Car Show at Malvern yesterday afternoon, he had a great time.

I'm off to meet my secondary school head of year for coffee this morning for a good old catch up. My Son loves him too so will be good fun for him.

It was epically comfortable, ford have absolute nailed the driver experience in their vans.

It was also loaded with toys the just make life easier, like adaptive cruise.

Starting to get my ducks in a row for the upcoming European tour, I was going to the post office anyway so I got a travel money card and loaded it up with Euro's so no transaction fees for using it.

Going to ring BMW tomorrow as the bike is on finance it's technically not mine so I should let them know.

Messing with the mobile.

I get a decent 5G signal in the office, but it just doesn't work. I phoned EE and apparently 5G isn't good inside, which doesn't help as there is no WiFi available.

Checked round and a quite a few have O2, but I don't really want to move.

So, I found Lyca mobile who bounce off the O2 network and have a really cheap starter deal as well. They also do eSIMs, which is amazing. Without leaving my office desk I had opened an account, downloaded the "SIM", and was connected to the network. All in under 15 mins.. as it's a second SIM I can just turn it off when I don't want it and back on when I do.

Impressive.

First thing I do is turn off 5g. Mobiles use loads of battery and data allowance just looking for it and as you say it’s shite inside.

On my EE SIM I can't turn 5G off, the option to select the band isn't there. I phoned EE and they said it was a pixel phone thing, but it's there for my Lyca SIM.

Well, I was going to go to a baseball game today, but instead I have a ton of super-exciting laundry to wade through. Hooray.

Took the MTB to a local guy to get fixed. It was missing a chain and generally looking sorry for itself, much better now but needs a good clean.

Also treated the road bike to some new brake blocks as they were basically useless.
