F'in train strikes...

I totally support people standing up for their rights and pay deals, but why f'in do it when I actually need to go into the office... Cost me £25 on a taxi to get home.

Dog owners who can't control their dogs. Putting your dog on a lead after it's tried to attack my dog and gotten bitten in the process is a bit too late.

Bella stood her ground for the first attack. Shoulder barged the dog at the second and bit the dog on the side of the neck at the third time. The owner didn't seem to care until his dog yelped out.

Similar issue, irresponsible dog owner.

Young Beagle down the road from us is never contained in the yard. Constantly wanders. I was walking her for a couple of months because I felt bad for her (with owners permission) but haven’t had the time lately.

She followed the kids as they walked to the bus stop this morning. They tried to return her but she followed back again. They rang me as they were about to miss the bus so had to scoop up the dog and run the kids to the stop in the car (15 min walk normally) took her back and had to wake up the owner. His answer was “should’ve left her, she would’ve come back eventually”. Didn’t seems to grasp the gravity of Pepper (the dog) following kids down to the bus stop on a national highway road 🤦🏻

I’ve had to ring him from offshore previous as someone found her 5 kms away and posted on the community FB page. He doesn’t “do” FB even though his dog is a regular post on there.

Virgin Media have put my monthly payment up by £15. I'm only paying £43 at the moment. That's a massive increase.

I've asked them on Twitter to justify it.

Apparently Virgin uses the 'Retail Price Index' to set it's prices, and that's considerably higher than just regular inflation......or some other similar line of crap.

We usually see prices rise by a couple of quid based on RPI, 30% increase is ridiculous

Loads of people are complaining about it. Some increases are as high as 50%

There are much cheaper broadband deals than virgin these days. That increase is disproportionately high.

Going back to Dog owners..... I saw a great Egret this morning, so i stood quietly trying to get a go snap, a few walkers past quietly, "saw what I was up to" then this prick with his dog, which was not on a lead and obviously miles behind him, started to clap and shout right next to me. Needless to say the bird flew off.... What a tosser.

I believe a rude word came out of my mouth, and a Paddington stare lmao.... Bloody twat! Then his dog showed up, I was at least 200m up the path by now. Oh yeah and he was a lycra clad jogger!! |(

So after 3 days discussions with Virgin they've decreased the price rise from £15 a month to £6 but I've got an increase in broadband from 350 to 500 and a price fix for 18 months.

I’ve been finding the same. I just had a close look and literally every second post is either a “suggested for you” or a sponsored ad.

People in general don't seem to give a shit about their surroundings, wherever they are. Expecting someone else will deal with their mess.... I see this on my walks in the country, Bags of dog shit hanging on trees, (not there to be collected on the return trip) they are never collected! Coffee cups, water bottles, and in summer full on picnic remains!! Which must have been brought in a bag of some sort.... Let alone the amount of rubbish I see floating down the Thames now.... constant amount of rubbish.

These are the people who expect / believe its someone else's job to pick it up. If it was not for locals in every town who volunteer their time to pick up rubbish it would not get done, as the local authorities have cut services so much, you hardly see "Trigger" on the streets any more, saving money with his broom savings lol....

‘Entitlement, innit?’

‘I pays my taxes so I can do what f… I want’ seems to be a very common theme in Britain now.
