Have fun......I saw WASP back in '80s at the Mayfair in Newcastle.
They're like Spinal Tap, Twisted Sister, and Bad News rolled into one. But they have a few decent songs.
Their old guitar player had the most amazingly beaten-up guitar I've ever seen.

Re: What are you doing today ??
2 yearly offshore medical. Closest place I can get it done is 1.5 hrs away. So currently doing my worst nightmare and travelling on a train as parking in the area is completely f**ked. And traffic in Sydney at this time of the morning is also completely f**ked. Would’ve been a good excuse to ride my bike except there is hearing tests as well and they specifically say to exclude motorcycle riding or other loud noise for 16 hrs prior.

Looking through my bank statements I noticed I was paying for insurance to a policy I had no knowledge of. After a phone call it was a renewal which I'd requested was cancelled at the time (May 2022) and so they've cancelled and refunded the full amount for that policy.

Exactly!
Unfortunately, probably just going straight to paying next years insurance premium outright rather than monthly. I MAY be getting an additional Mountain Bike though...

Re: What are you doing today ??
My mountain bike is a '95 model....I've just ordered a 'brand new' 97 Rock Shox Judy....they're like hen's teeth these days. I'm a bit leary of the elastomer inners they use. In the past I've replaced them with cartridges, but I'm guessing I'm going to have an even tougher time tracking those down.
One of these days I'll have to get a whole new mtb....

Re: What are you doing today ??
I keep looking at new ones, but they're mostly long-travel things with bigger wheels - not really my cup of Earl Grey....I'll get around to getting one eventually....if only because sourcing replacement stuff is getting to be a PITA.

If it's a 120mm hard tail you're after, there are many to choose from!

What did you get?
I’ve been eyeing off some electric hard tails. Living on the side of a mountain has some disadvantages

It's a Specialized Kenevo SL Comp. Lightweight eMTB with 170mm travel front and rear.kiwikrasher wrote: ↑23 Mar 2023, 20:44What did you get?

Re: What are you doing today ??
It's a 7750 bike at full price. I didn't pay that. 40% off.
It's not uncommon (although ludicrous!) to see pedal bikes selling at 14k. It's amazing to think you can buy a push bike for the same at a 1000cc superbike.
I keep coming back to the thought of selling my bike as I genuinely don't know when I'll ever get to use it again
