Sounds good to me ^
I went and renewed my membership to Windsor Great Park, had a massive walk, and went into Saville Gardens for a walkabout, being a member its free for me :) I was the only one in there. It was great.
Then finally got home and started to work on the onboard vids I took at Ashdown MX track yesterday.
Planned to wash the bike - planned to go out on the bike - Did sod all, to be honest I was ready for a little 40 winks when I got back.

Pleased to say, considering yesterday was hard going, my body was not as bad as before... well happy with that. And managed over 10 miles walking today.

So was supposed to be flying up to Darwin today to head out to work Wednesday.

I had to fly via Adelaide but my Sydney to Adelaide flight was massively delayed, and I missed my connecting flight. No other flights today.

So Qantas rebooked me for tomorrow and have put me up in a fantastic hotel on the beach at Glenelg. Means I’ll also get to work a day late, but that’s on the company thank goodness.

Went for a wander and found a gin bar on the marina. So would be rude not to have a few.

I bloody wish.

But you are right. We thought we’d be done by now. But production tapered off its decline and levelled out a bit shy of our minimum - time to stop - rate. So cease of production has slipped out 3-4 months.

We just had a briefing on end of field life and apparently regardless of gas rates it got to the point we are no longer financially viable. So they have one more LNG cargo contracted to fill and then we will be shutting down for good late March/early April. But then there is decommissioning. They provisionally indicated there will be staged redundancies in Aug/Oct/Dec.

So depending which block I get the tap for, I could still be offshore till the end of this year. Fair bit longer than we all expected.

Tonight I'm going to see former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley in concert..... he'd quit (...or been fired, depending on who you want to believe) that band shortly before I saw them waaay back in the early '80s.
Be nice to finally hear him play, see if he's still got the chops.

Today I walked 13 miles down in Surrey. A place where I used to go on the bike for a bacon roll and a cup of tea. Some really nice ancient woods walked in today.

Well, it was a lacklustre & disjointed gig, by a guy who is clearly way past his prime, propped up by a backup band half his age & with twice the talent. What a disappointment.
4 marks out of 10.

Went for a stroll round a different RSPB reserve with the camera.

Think I walked the cake off (giggle)Image

My Wife called to say she's on way to A&E with our Son as she suspects he's broken his foot ;(

We have heavy and tall wooden dining room chairs, which our boy managed to pull over onto his foot as he fell back with it. It's swollen and bruised almost immediately.

I'm totally helpless/useless while at work but I wouldn't be much help if I was with him either.

My lad was forever bouncing off things or having things bounce off him. Thankfully they're pretty robust at that age. A&E will soon sort him out.

Shouldn't expect it will stop you fretting but I'm sure he'll be fine Cav', nippers are pretty resilient. Furthermore he's 50% to your design pattern, so just going to be getting in some early practice isn't he.? ;)

Little man doesn't have bones in his feet to break... I did not know their feet are mostly cartilage. He was able to weight bare in a few hours and has been sound asleep for a few hours thankfully. It's just horrible not being able to be there with your child when they're injured or unwell.

I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. What could you have done if you were there?

I obviously went to the heartless bastard school of parenting :D I had no qualms going away for work or holidays and leaving my kids behind, knowing I wouldn't be there if something happened.

I must have read the same books Image we were on the IoM the week before my eldest was due..

Just to clarify, by we I mean the tankslap crew and not my heavily pregnant wife.
