Bought the first fish for the new tank. Just a few to start and make sure the tank is fully cycled Image

The plant on the right is a cryptocoryne. Expect it to melt. They don't like change. It will recover.

The fern in the center will need to come out of the pot. It's an epiphiyte plant so attach it to the wood or a rock.

There are 2 cryptocoryne in there, they both have gone through a crap stage. They've had the tank to themselves for a week so helpfully well settled now.

Bloke in the shop said the center plant would be fine in the pot. I'll look into it if I can find the label for the plant.

Nice and relaxed day today, washed the bike and the cage then had a nice Sunday roast, Pork with crackling and all the trimmings.

I had a fantastic weekend!

Between a great couple of mornings with my boy, mountain biking with a colleague, 4 year olds birthday party and a breakthrough in this evenings swimming lesson... it's been amazing.

With all that said, my mind wanders to thinking of Jack and hoping you are managing to enjoy yourself too?

Nice comeback by the Chiefs.
Debatable holding call on the Eagles.... but I guess even the Eagles player concerned admitted later that the call was a good one. I'll bet he was popular in the locker room afterwards.

It was a good game. A bit of a weird ending but that's the rules I suppose.

I've no idea what that half time show was about.

The half-time show was a seamless blend of lame & baffling.
But then again I'm not too well versed on who Rihanna is?.... I've heard of her, but I couldn't tell you any of her songs.
It seemed like the whole show was a massive "pregnancy reveal" for her. With hundreds of dudes dressed up as er, part of the fertilization process?? And yes, any one of them could be the father...../

Superbowl shows work better with rock bands... but I'm biased. It just feels like a rock band keeps the adrenaline level up between the two halfs. You'll get Steven Tyler from Aerosmith screaming "Walk this waaaay!!" into the mic, or some dizzy broad going "Oops - I'm pregnant. Again!!"
Lame.

Archiving photos from the last session and Whaddon MX and clearing the memory cards ready for this weekends session. Weather looks to be ok, so fingers crossed.

The R7 + EF 70-200 L f/2.8 is working out well :) The auto-focus is unreal compared to my previous setup, one of my favs from the last shoot.

Today I’m feeling all of my years and I’ve not got out of bed yet.

Yesterday I did 4 hours of slashing and mowing in the back block, cleaned the pool and chopped up a cubic metre of wood. In 33 deg heat. Then drank way too many ciders (lol)

Popped to the fish shop. 5 more guppies and some grass.

Managed to pull something in my chest which has been hurting like hell all day. Not touched alcohol for 2 weeks now so may treat myself to a glass of wine with dinner to dull the pain.

Also popped into sportsbike shop near me to look at lids.. there may be a delivery on Monday

Prepped dinner
Currently sitting on my fat arse watching TV, drinking tea and eating fig rolls.
