Fixing the lighting electrics on the caravan. Noticed on the last trip the lights were flickering and would occasionally go out.

Not ideal, and plod is less keen. Found 3 extra wires in the loom that had just been cut and not terminated. Guessing they had started shorting out. Taped them up for now.. another winter job.

I am EXHAUSTED!! I've been carting big blocks of wood around for half the day.... remnants from building beams or something = big, awkward, & heavy.
I am so out of shape it's not even funny.

I caught up on some sleep and had a good think about my career and the probable future. Looking at the biggest picture that I can form I think I had better stay put as supermarket supply chains are a pretty stable job in the coming cluster****.

Oh and I changed the dogbone bearings in mum's garden chair then found the ones I had ordered were wrong, I mis measured the inner diameter so made some bushings out of cable ties to fix that. Then cleaned and lubed the bikes chain.

Anyone thinking, Dogbones on a garden chair??? It looks identical to this one.

It's like a rocking chair, yes??
They go back & forth.... called a chair-glider, or gliding chair, or something like that. PITA to get out of.

Cadwell was tougher than I expected , I didn't overdo it , took plenty of breaks , I did enjoy it and got some nice results .

It's easier the faster you go. When you try to chill for a lap it gets squirrely and messy

(wait) Most of us don't...

Going up isn't the thing imho, it's the coming down.!
If you come out of the righthander at the bottom of the mountain nice and tight, and power up the straight like you would from any other corner, then the lift is a natural result.
If you find yourself airborn, then landing the bike straight, stable and on right part of the track for Hall Bends is the real issue. If you weren't as rapid at the bottom of the slope, at the top your front is going to launch into a wheelie.. If you don't manage your power you will flip. If you don't get the front down soon enough you're looking at the same issue at Hall Bends.

( Oh, & just to be honest, the reason that no one has taken a shot like that of me isn't actually valid testimony to Jack's superior camera skills ).

for most people , even fast people the jump at the mountain looks much less impressive than when the BSB lads do it .

Even in the support races you rarely get massive jumps
