Re: What are you Listening to today???
Cheers cookie, been hard work but I'm happy with how the whole album had come out, all the others have a lot more guitar solos on them. That one was just a quick short sharp blast

Hmmmm....do you want my thoughts on it where I tell you you're the greatest thing since sliced bread, or the one where I tell you what I really think, one musician to another?? (neither are that bad).

.....But Marshall feedback is the best feedback of all.Cavetroll87 wrote:Genuine feedback is always better
It's a very cool song...the Hammond is a nice touch. The solo is a bit overkill - the song is strong enowithout it.
The main riff is a MONSTER!!

Re: What are you Listening to today???
Not bad at all, loved the Guitar mate, awesome, cant help thinking that particular song leans towards a more gravelly vocal, if you get my meaning, if I am talking horse sh1t, then forgive me
Excellent effort...all the best taking this all the way.

Re: What are you Listening to today???
Cheers D, tbh I kinda kept the solo short and sweet on that one for that reason so I get what you mean. I cant help it, I'm a guitarist with an ego
Thanks Nutz, it should be on spotify in the next few days, already on apple and amazon.
Thanks Frankie, I agree, vocals are the big thing for me, first time I've ever sung in a project and I know my voice isn't the strongest but at least it's in tune

Re: What are you Listening to today???
Yep....there's nowt wrong with the vocals at all IMO....they're sitting on top of the mix maybe just a hair...maybe. But I think you've got a strong, to really strong voice, right within normal range-----most guys in rock trying to hit their upper range end up shrieking a bit at some point anyway, or else they go into a strained falsetto to try & cover up that they're maxed-out.
