Ta. I think we're in the age/era when we're seeing the very last of anything WW2 related - bar the odd exception.
This sort of thing only seems to last as long as living memory.
Ten years from now, no-one will make movies like this anymore....there'll be no-one left who can relate to it, so no audience for it.

Watched a Falcon-9 rocket launch last night....standing outside the house.
Now watching the TV coverage.....pretty effing spectacular. Best one I've seen yet by a mile.
I'm sure it's on YouTube somewhere, if anyone's into spacey stuff.

I never said it was a stupid movie.
Im not much into Vietnam-themed war movies. I think Americans tend to obsess over that era/war a bit too much than is healthy.
WW2....there's a clear demarcation between the good & the bad. Vietnam was a civil war, a regional war, and a proxy war, all rolled into one neat little mess.
