In an effort to reduce calories from tonic I do put about half a glass of ice in, cover that in gin and top up with tonic. Doesn’t work out 50:50 due to the ice volume but keeps its cold for a lot longer
Firstly, Gin in a tin mug? (rolf)
Secondly, reducing calories? how are your ovaries doing? (makeup)
Lastly, good thoughts on the drinking faster, I’m deffo using that one. (y)

Firstly I was camping and the ice situation was sparse.
Secondly, have you looked at the sugar content of tonic?? When you are keeping up with a gf 12yrs younger you need to stay in shape ;)
Lastly, I’m glad I was of some help (lol)

I let my standards drop last night.

I was at Jess’ place and even after she confirmed she had gin and tonic and ‘no don’t bring any down’ she didn’t, well not any good stuff.

So I drank Bombay with ginger ale and after the 3 glass it wasn’t too bad (lol)

A work mate who visits Thailand regularly (his wife family live there) stumbles on a distillery a few trips back and rates their gin as one of the best he’s tried.

http://ironballsgin.com

So last trip he bought me a bottle and posted it to me from Perth. Bloody good drop and definitely up there in gins I’ve tried.

The name is quite amusing considering this was all organised before my ‘ball’ issue but turned up while on sick leave with it. I’m sure it helped in my recovery (lol)

Bought some new g&t glasses today, along with some gin.

Be rude not to test them out, so having a cheeky Hendrik's and fever tree

Was warned about Rattler the first time I worked in Cornwall. :D

It goes down so smoothly, but then someone’s stolen your legs after 4 pints. (blush)

Haha yeah think it's 6% and the pear Rattler in particular is so refreshing to drink.

We caught some mackeral yesterday and the pear cider with pan fired fresh macheral and crusty bread for lunch was superbly brillant and so simple but tasty food.
