Best Stuff To Get Tyreweld Off Plastic

Long and short, had a nail in my tyre while out last week. Used up two canisters of tyreweld to get me home, but the stuff was squirting out all over my under tray and now it's made a right mess. Have tried white spirit, but not budging it. Any ideas what I can use please?

I take it you've tried all the usual stuff like meths or WD40? I've got some of that tar removal stuff. That might be worth a shot.

Is it worth getting a hairdryer and heating it up to see if that helps?

Halfords sell sticky stuff remover other than that mek will shift it

A bit of piss on a rag will lift it in seconds

There is an ABS and PVC Cleaner in my trade which is used to remove excess glue/cement when joining ABS and PVC Pressure Pipe.

You can get it from an DIY stores ....

NOTE !!!! I HAVENT TRIED THIS ON MY BIKE SO TRY A SMALL AREA FIRST
It works by breaking down the glue without harming the plastics

Well done spudda. I had some PVC cleaner in my van and tried that. I bought some sticky stuff remover and that was pants. The PVC cleaner did the job! I used it on a 'magic sponge' and worked a treat
