I've spent all day riding in the snow. We'll swap places next time.

I couldn't believe it , you'd expect Wales to catch a good amount but apart from a couple of horizontal blizzards blowing at us on open ground we saw very little.Kwacky wrote:I've spent all day riding in the snow. We'll swap places next time.
The wind chill over the tops was a bit extreme but I have to say we even saw brilliant sunshine ... strange weather

Packed it on a trailer and took a pocket full of cash for it
Funnily enough, few guys from Sydney that were keen decide to pass on it because I was a 2 hr drive away, yet the guy that bought it just drove 10 hrs from Melbourne today to pick it up!!
Undecided if I’ll get a second bike, bloody Multi still hasn’t been out this year yet!!

I think it's always hard to part with a bike. Just make sure you dont spend the money on something else and you can buy another one at some point IF your not using the track bike, no point keeping it.kiwikrasher wrote:Packed it on a trailer and took a pocket full of cash for it

Agreed with Cookie if you arent using it then sell it. This means money can go on a few nice trips with your family, kids and partner will love that or pop it into kids uni fund or something. You have a road bike which you love and doesnt matter if you dont use it all that often at least its there for any day of the week, a track bike is only for that one day of week/ month or possibly year so better to have a road bike, you may find one day kids are out, partner is working and you are all caught up on your jobs so easy to go out for a couple hours.

‘71 models must all be the same, because I took a Snapchat of the cash and added the text ‘so... whores and coke this weekend?’ To Jess luckily she understands my sense of humourKwacky wrote:Bollocks to the kids university funds.

Unfortunately I’m going in for surgery on Friday and even though I have private medical insurance it’s still costing me $2500 out of pocket. So that only leaves a $1000 for an average hooker and a gram

The guy from All Year Biker has come to work to collect my bike. He's taken it back to his place for it to be washed and ACF50'd. He'll drop it back off this afternoon.
Top service.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
The adding of smaller round bits and the other necessary bits happened yesterday but today was try-out day
I managed to juggle a few chores about and found a spare hour which was long enough to make sure everything worked together and work as it should.
Got to say that with both sets of wheels this bike covers pretty much everything I do on a bike ..... where that leaves the Triumph tiger I'm not quite sure at the moment

I'd need a ladder to get up on that!!
Does look like it'd be fun though.
