Re: Han Solo Trailer
Whadya think??
It definitely looks promising to me, although I'm getting a bit jaded with all the SW stuff, TBH.
I'm sure I'll come 'round

I hate to say it but I'm more than a little jaded and I'm not sure I'll come around.D41 wrote:Whadya think??

Watched the last SW movie and sat in the cinema thinking I'm just not enjoying it , didn't hate it but I won't be rushing to watch anymore at the cinema.

Re: Han Solo Trailer
I thought that 'Episode Whatever' (I've lost track) sort of went all "Lord Of The Rings" at the end....which I understand to an extent.
And in general we're just spoilt these days with all the SF movies. I'm fine with that.
I do like the whole stand-alone Rogue-One sorta thing instead of waiting around for three years to find out what happens next.

Yep. We knew that Disney will milk it to death. It'll end up like the Marvel films, where you get a new one every few months.

Can you imagine how wealthy Stan Lee is now? Beyond his wildest dreams how many characters and films they have done.Kwacky wrote:Yep. We knew that Disney will milk it to death. It'll end up like the Marvel films, where you get a new one every few months.
I've got the the Justice League film to watch this week too - i think thats in danger of being overdone too.

Re: Han Solo Trailer
I love all things star wars, and that trailer looks awesome. I have been trying not to watch them so I can just enjoy it in the cinema. But oh well.
Watched last jedi again on the plane to L.a.
I do think the stand alones have the opportunity to be darker and grittier that the normal story ones. And try to appeal to older audience. Whereas I think the storyline ones need to be truer to the originals, to keep the franchise appealing to a new audience.

Re: Han Solo Trailer
I watched that on the plane the other week. Missed it in cinema. I had heard bad things, but I thought it was good. Thought superman was good, but don't want to go into why if you've not seen it. Wonderwoman is good too. And I was someone who really wasn't bothered by the character, but she's probably one of the better ones.C00kiemonster wrote:[
