Weekend plans
Anyone up to anything?
Gym tonight then maybe the local for a couple of pints.
Sam is working tomorrow so the usual ferrying the kids about. Saturday night I'm meeting a couple of old mates are we're off to a Hummingbird Reunion. For those who know, the Hummingbird was a proper old school nightclub that would hold raves, RnB nights, gigs, ad indie nights. It's the indie night reunion I'm going to but they'll be playing all sorts of stuff from the mid 80s to the mid 90s. Should be good.
Sunday recovering but hopefully getting round to giving the Versys a proper wash and wax. Some of the metal parts look a bit weathered after the winter.

Re: Weekend plans
Last weekend before heading out to work, Jess got some free tickets for the LEGO sculptures exhibition so taking the kids in to see that. Probably a lazy Sunday

Re: Weekend plans
Not a lot. Need to get a 10k run in as I'm training for my first 10k race. Going to service the bike on Saturday and maybe weather permitting get a short ride out on Sunday.

Re: Weekend plans
Going to the picture tonight or tomorrow to see the commuter. I went to see the post last weekend and it was fab to see Tom Hanks again. This weekend I fancy seeing Liam Neeson.
Out on the bike today cos its dry and out on Saturday and Sunday if its still dry. Need to get the engine running in period out of the way so I can open up the Z900 to enjoy it properly. ;-)

Re: Weekend plans
It's looking like there's a very short dry and just above freezing weather window on Sunday
If anyone is brave enough, meet at 12 on the Cat and Fiddle Inn car park and then back roads to Matlock Bath for Fish and chips?

Re: Weekend plans
Not sure on tonight or tomorrow really.
Sunday I have a 10k race in London, it's nice and flat so I might try for a time if I feel good and there aren't too many people in the way.

Re: Weekend plans
Friday evening visiting my kids and the grandkids as usual
Saturday morning I'm working ....but the 6 nations starts in the afternoon so hopefully I can spend a few hours watching the box
Sunday, dunno yet .... Fingers crossed for a lie-in but I'm sure the dog will have other ideas
I really should go and look at a few bikes but the ones I've got an eye on aren't local so they'll have to wait for another weekend.

I,ll let you know Monty once I wake up and see the sunshine on Sunday morning. To be honest if it turns out like today I,d be game for it for sure.Monty wrote:It's looking like there's a very short dry and just above freezing weather window on Sunday

Re: Weekend plans
I went out today, put 80 miles on the clock. Longhill was just great this afternoon. Tilting the bike over more and more now as the roads dry up a bit more.Monty wrote:It's not looking good, snow forecast for Saturday.
