Re: Ride or not ride tomorrow?
I'm off tomorrow. If it was going to work it would be in the car. Fresh snow with road tyres and no traction control is something I'll leave to the heroes and nutters.
Riding in falling snow is really weird. It's very easy to get disorientated.

No sign of any snow forecast down here at the moment.. Just fecking cold.

Given that D6s chain is likely to seize any day soon that may well be how he ends up riding into work.

I went in the car. Was quite thick with snow around where I live. But nothing in Hinckley. In fact by Lichfield it was barely a sprinkle.

Re: Ride or not ride tomorrow?
I did the school run in the Disco this morning. Every warning light came on a few days ago ABS, Traction control, hill descent and didn't trust the wife with it. Forgotten how much fun driving in the snow could be without all the electrickity.

Re: Ride or not ride tomorrow?
The roads aren't too bad. Some of the side roads are still icy and there's a fair bit of snow about but the main roads are clear.
The worst apart about using the roads is the shitty spray - it covers everything.
