Fallon
Another liar and pervert knighted by the Country.
This Country needs a huge broom to sweep away all the traditions of Parliament and a new start that really does represent British people of today.

Re: Fallon
They can do that when they chuck them out of Westminster to get the building sorted, it's falling down, structure is knackered, cabling that nobody knows where they go, it's a mess.
Get them all out and when they come back, clean house their as well.
New Palace of Westminster, new broom on the liers that dwell.

Re: Fallon
I wonder what he's really been up to? Or is he using this as an excuse to get out of working for May?

Without a doubt, you don't resign a cabinet position for touching a journalist's knee several times.

Re: Fallon
I suspect he thinks falling on his own sword will prevent all the dirt from getting into the press, Westminster doesn’t work like that, there’ll be queue of MP’s waiting to stick the knife in and twist it. Tears on Sunday morning when the papers hit the doormats.

Re: Fallon
There will never be a clean house. It's in the whips interest to have dirt on people to sway the vote on a bill.

My god, two agreements in one day!Blade wrote:There will never be a clean house. It's in the whips interest to have dirt on people to sway the vote on a bill.
Was about to say
It gets worse, obviously I’m no Fallon fan but at least he was respected by his own side, the civil service and the armed forces.
Our new Minister of Defence is an ex-Tory Chief Whip despised by his fellow Tories with no ministerial experience of any form or knowledge on defence. Think he used to work for a pot bank in Stoke.
But far far worse than that, as Chief Whip he was almost certainly guilty of blackmailing Tory sexual predators for votes. At least Fallon has shown some common decency and resigned.
Labour has been no better in the past, and it’s always been not what you know but what you know about somebody else!
It’s time for a much gentler politics, but first we need to burn down the building. (or sell it off to Disney and let them sort out the asbestos)

Re: Fallon
Can't help laughing at Fallon. Denied all wrong doing publicly but it appears he couldn't give assurances to the PM that further 'unwanted advances' might not become public. Which they have. What a complete bellend.
Just sums up all that is wrong with British politics.
