The football hasn't started yet but already the England fans are being dickheads.

I hope those dickheads get setback home and not give any refund on any of their tickets. Don't want t@#ts like that representing our country. There's no need for violence like that.

Some mates of mine are out there in France. Gangs of armed Russians are going around the backstreets, looking for English fans to attack. They've been giving the police the run around for over a day. Several England fans have been stabbed, one was seen being given CPR at the roadside.

Russian fans have dismantled the divider and got through to the England fans inside the stadium. The police remain outside.

It's a joke. The whole thing. So much for increased security, you can see and hear that the Russians have flares and fireworks inside the ground.

And yet England fans have been threatened to be kicked out of the rest of the games...what the hell!

Russia handed a suspended sentence - any more trouble in the ground and Russia gets expelled from the competition.

Nothing about trouble outside of the ground.

A few England fans have been arrested and received sentences of 2 and 3 months. One lad has been banned from attending any football games for 5 years.

A Russian MP who is also on the executive committee for the football union is praising the Russian thugs for violence saying they are doing a good job and they are very manly and representing Russia and they should keep up the good work.

It's almost unbelievable. Russian Government Offical are actually involved in promoting and inciting this mindless violence.

No, they can't do much about what happens outside the grounds. The French police have been detaining Russians but it's not known if any of them were those involved in the violence.

From what my mates out there tell me, those arrested were people who had been left on the floor. The police were simply picking them up and if they weren't badly injured arresting them. There was no signs of the police picking out troublemakers and going for them.

The French police do tend to prefer to get intel and then go back for people so hopefully there will be more arrests.

These Russians are well organised, they are well funded, they aren't just hooligans, they hit the gym and train for this but the problem is they are fighting the English because of our rep (70s, 80s and 90s). Our firms don't run they stand their ground, we haven't started this trouble they have. It wouldn't surprise me if their government are contributing to their cause. The black tops are their uniform, British firms never had uniforms they were all about top brands and togetherness that the firms brought. This is what my mate was saying yesterday as I asked him about the situation. I've worked with a couple of the firm guys (older now - one retired early end of last year) but they know what it's all about, the one I asked yesterday thinks its horrifying what the Russians are doing, hurting innocent people is never part of it.

Terrible what is going on. I really don't get it.

Doesn't the government take the passports from all our known hooligans when a major football tournament is on so the people the Russians are fighting are genuine English fans and not organised Football Violence Gangs.

Yep, 300 of our hoolies are unable to travel.

But it does sound like the English are fighting back. There are photos of Russian passports and flags doing the rounds with offers to the Russians to come and get them back.

The Russians have tried to start some fights today but English and Welsh fans stood firm until the Police arrived.

Hopefully the police will grow some balls and start arresting these russian muppets

I think that is an impossibility in my opinion, they would be relying on a lot of people to do their jobs correctly to be able to get that sort of affect. Sort of easier said than done situation. I think you are right though, majority of these guys are just football fans who have been caught up in it, but the Russians do not care who they hurt, they are there for violence. Which is quite clear, the English are just retaliating.

I am just going by what my work colleague has told me because I know he follows football religiously, he is very knowledgeable on all this sort of stuff
