My lass
Jess had her first day of clinical placement for her nursing degree today after 4 cancelled attempts with Covid complications. She’s in her second year and these are her first year placements she’s doing now, so really good to finally be getting a start.
She works as an AIN in a mental health private residential clinic, so has some nursing am experience already, but her placement is at an aged care facility so quite different to what she’s used to so far.
She’s had a shite run with her degree, having to do most of it online with Covid affecting campus classes. As you all know she also dealt with the death of her dad earlier this year, and the on going struggles we have with my extended absences with quarantine and work.
But she’s pulled her big girl pants on, battles through, pulls distinction and high distinction passes on units regularly and is generally just kicking goals.
She was freaking out about today, but when I chatted to her on her drive home, was all bubbly and excited and I couldn’t have been more proud of her.
Here is my very own cute nurse on her first day
What do you want to praise today?

Very impressed, well done Jess..
Elderly care ehh.. ?
Thinking, I could probably quite easily infiltrate such an establishment ( posing as a resident ) & asses her bed-bath skillz

Re: What do you want to praise today?
EMRA , at the last meeting there were some delays ( No fault of the club or circuit ) which resulted in the final race of the day being cut very short , the club have refunded all the riders on the grid £50 , they didn't have to do that and it was a CB500 race so a full grid .
