Just tried the link to check it worked and it does but it's now £12.55 and I paid £10.50. The day before I bought it, it was £8.50 so looks like the price of memory is going up.

Quick tip read the small print when buying SD cards online even from reputable dealers.

Saw some Samsung class 10 cards for £9 from a seller with loads of good feedback. When you read the small print it stated the cards although OEM Samsung cards they had failed QA checks and therefore speed could not be guaranteed. Apparently they could in reality be anything from class 4 to class 10 speed although labeled up as class 10 speed and priced as such.

Pays to be paranoid

A sump plug, copper washer and 4L of fully synth!

Another thing to note is that there's a speed it can transfer data too. So you can get class 10 but its also MB/sec that also makes a difference.

Actually she's been very supportive, after 2 days of me moping around I recon I might be on for a sympathy blow job tonight.

Joking aside she says I can get one on finance, but not until we lose the £1170 a month nursery bill which should be April/May 2015.

What can I get for £1170 a month?

Crikey that's a mental bill. Can you get child care vouchers of your employer ?

No but I'll happily sell a child, by the way that's only for 3 days a week and doesn't include the after school clubs for Will the eldest.

The problem is we had 4 kids in 5 years and you don't get free child care until they are 3. Lilly now get's 2 days free and starts school in september, but the twins are 90 quid a day. It was a lot worse when we had to pay for Lily too.

How the chuff single working parents do it is beyond me.

We have been fortunate in comparison. My kids have an age gap between them of 3,5 years so only ever paid for one in private nursery. It also helps financially that I work shifts and my wife works part time in that we do a lot of the child minding ourselves but that puts a different strain on us as we have barely anytime to function in any other capacity than chores or child minding. If I ride my bike it means I have loads to do that night or double the next day so recently I have put off going out on the bike on a few occasions as just too tied.

Life is never easy with kids is it its weird I think about them all the time, how I can help them, how I can do something nice for them, how I can guide or support them but boy do I wish some days I didn't have such a constantly draining responsibility and every parent I speak to seems to be similar. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side and nobody said it would be easy. Worth it yes, easy or drama free NO !!!!!!

Be without them no, regret having them absolutely not. Could do with a bloody week without them though!

We've done a similar thing to you over the last two years, but both working part time. So your either looking after 4 kids on your own or working, nothing in-between. Been bloody tough to be honest, I'm not a natural stay at home dad and my clients didn't just work on the days I worked. So was pretty hard to do a good job at either. I'm back at work full time now and Sarah works 3 days a week, so things are much easier for both of us.

I don't regret it for a minute though, I have a much better relationship with my kids than I would have had. It's just as you say the constant draining 24 hours a day and I so didn't appreciate my life before kids.
