Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Problem is I'm half through a policy so would probably get fook all back on it.
Also as a multi bike policy I may struggle as the range of insurers offering multi bike is quite limited.
Did you have multi bike insurance Mick when you had the Rsv4 ? If yes who with buddy ?

Ducati did me a very quote on a Panigale.
Way cheaper than anyone else so maybe worth a look in the future Mick.

Need to get this insurance sorted now.
The dealer with the rsv4 has improved his offer considerably and I'm close to being happy with the deal.
Hopefully I can sort something and get insurance cover.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I ve done some quotes online for insuring just the rsv4 on a stand alone policy and it's approx £350 more a year than my zx10r.
I accept it's going to cost more to insure and happy to pay the uplift if that's the going rate but I need to find someone who will multi bike with the sp2. If I can do that I could be in a position to move on the deal if it can be improved a little further as we are not a million miles apart on an agreement now.

Pay me the right amount and I'll ride it over as a personal delivery service. The way working is going at the moment I may have some spare time on my hands soon anyway

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Cheers buddy. I have fancied an RSV4 for a while so if I can get the insurance sorted I'm thinking blow it I'm having one. If the worst comes to the worst I'll have some redundancy money to tie me over whilst I find another job. As I said earlier it's not a death sentence just a fook off inconvenience is how I see it. The mood is not good here so most of us are trying to blank it out and just crack on. Maybe not sensible but the new bike shopping is helping me take my mind off it and I ve realised recently you only live once, so LIVE it well

Haha.. don't tell her you're moving there just that you're having a very long holiday over there - she'll start suspecting something fishy is going on 5 years later but it's too late for her then!!!
As for the RSV4... £350 more for insurance isn't a great deal in the grand scheme of things. If you have ridden the bike and love it, love the way it looks and everything else associated then why not just go for it? If I could afford to buy one and it was £350 more than my ZX6R I'd definitely get one (£775 for insurance would be a good deal in my book)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Struggled to find somewhere I could get my bike to to have the chain and sprockets done. Best I could do was next Tuesday.
Tsubaki chain and renthal sprocket kit. Not cheap but like tyres I think it one of those things on a bike you shouldn't look to save money on.

I love my AFAM Sprockets.. they wear really well and are 3x lighter than the identical steel sprocket.
DID Chain is real good too

It was a DID they put on last time. It's lasted about 8,000 miles, which I think is pretty shit.
