It certainly seems to be on all Kawasaki's looking at the brochure.

Brakes seem to be bedding in without any issues. These are the street version so they're no where near as strong as the MRR. Progressive braking, no dramas.

That should make a big difference! The light smoked colour is much better as well IMO

Cheers Kiwi

It's certainly made an improvement at the lowest setting (the only one I've tried). The air gets pushed to the sides which makes it less noisy and my head isn't bobbing around so much.

Thanks. I wasn't sure when I bought it but the guy at Powerbronze was very good and said I could return it if I didn't like it.

I noticed that the front tyre has worn much faster than expected. Less than 7,000 miles and it looks like it needs replacing. I was hoping it would be the standard 2 rears to one front which is why I stuck with the S20s.

Seems I either get a set of tyres I want and end up half using a rear or I get another S20 for the front and run them a bit longer.

I ve got a pair of virtually brand new (probably about 500 miles on them) Michelin pilot powers in 120/70 and 190/55 I was going to ebay if your interested.

There both like new. But will measure tread depths if your interested. I did find a small screw in the rear but it never lost pressure and when the tyre was removed you could see it hadn't gone all the way through.

Would be great commuter Tyres and worst case scenario if the rear does have a problem you could get it puncture repaired but hand on heart it never lost pressure on my bike and I only noticed the screw when cleaning it so god knows how long it had been in there. Pressure didn't go down on it with screw removed either so think just cosmetic damage and no integrity issues.

I wouldn't sell anyone something dodgy especially a mate but obviously could'nt offer a guarantee on a used tyre regardless of the screw its a used tyre and sold as seen / described although being very honest in my description.

Let me know if they sound of interest ? No probs either way.

Don't want much for them either happy with £50 + postage or free to collect.

Cheers Blade, that's an option.

I've asked Mike if he's got any tyre deals on. I'll have a think what I'm going to do once he gets back to me.

No probs either way Kwacky mate. You know where they are if you want them.

If you want photos and tread depths no problem just ask. Not being pushy just being helpful. Genuienly no hard sell.

As those of you on facebook know I've picked up a 3 inch screw on the rear tyre, so that needs replacing now. I had asked Mike about deals and he offered me a set of Angel ST for £199 fitted ride in/out service.

Mike is going away on holiday tomorrow so I've tried Spudda's recommendation of Tipton Tyres. They can do me a set of M5s fitted to the bike for £200 so I'll be using them this time.

Bugger, that's not good. I always except to get something with the amount I filter and ride through chvrons all the time. But touch wood been lucky so far. I always have a glance at my tyres after the commute just in case.

:| Can't get my head around how that screw has gone in like that

Looks like a heated screw was left on top of your tyre and melted in.

It looks like the screw was slightly raised on the road and I've ridden into it and it's gone in almost horizontal.

The 2016 model is being released with a slipper clutch. I sometimes forget mine hasn't got one (sweat)

Kawasaki have sold all of their 2015 models so the only ones available now are the ones in dealers. That's why they reckon the 2016 model is coming out early.
