Never mind flight mode Rossgo the phone won't even be coming to Venice ;)

PS I didn't even put my overtime hours in that list which are over and above the 12 hour shifts. Believe me I don't want the overtime but in my job the clock doesn't stop unfortunately. I m glad to get away believe me.

Glad to hear it Blade, enjoy the time together. Sometimes it's best to.not even bother with them as they cause more aggro than their worth!

Blinking hell Blade, it's good for your kids to see though in my opinion, shows that there are benefits by the end of it.

My dad always worked long hours when I was growing up and now he's 50 odd he has got a job he actually does enjoy and he doesn't have to get phone calls in the middle of the night or well anything to be honest! He does his hours then goes pretty much. Hes my role model right there...just wish I had his brains then maybe I could have an equal sort of life...oh well usually skips a generation I suppose haha!!

Don't knock yourself Rossgo your young with a bright future in front of you I'm sure.

We certainly do as you say though Rossgo and show our kids that honest hard work and saving up for things instead of throwing debt on a credit card are what allows you to afford life's luxuries and sleep peacefully at night without fear of loosing it all.

Cheers Rossgo. Everything I own has been bought through hard graft, some times dam hard graft but always honest hard graft and I'm a true believer in hard work pays and you reap what you sew. This is how I will raise my kids and also as a benefit it makes ownership sweeter knowing you actually own the goods rather than owe a credit card company for the privilege of borrowing them.

Typically what I can get a good deal on. The best stuff I've used it USN Hardcore Whey Gh. It has a small amount of Creatine in it which means you don't need to cycle it and the recovery is brilliant.

I've been using Optimum Health Whey lately as it was 10kg for £60 or so which I couldn't pass on.

This latest stuff is from MyProtein - I shall let you know what I think of it. They have a pretty extensive and extravagant list of flavours too!

Thanks. I don't tend to use much, generally some creatine before a work out and protein powder after if I remember.

I've used myprotein in the past. Mixes well and tastes good and hard to beat for the money and most whey protein is very similar imo.

Have you every tried CNP Professional products.

Used to be owned by a neighbour up until a few months back and went to some nutritional seminars by Kerry and he certainly new his stuff.

I don't think it's cheap but it does seem technically very good at least.

On a side note the founder Kerry kayes certainly new his stuff on nutrition. He was Ricky Hatton's nutritionist which I reckon was no mean feat (lol)

I agree with you in terms of the Whey but the USN Hardcore with they Creatine is really nice. I haven't had an issue with mixing since I started putting the powder in AFTER the water.

I got all of this stuff for £35 with 27% discount so it was pretty cheap.

I've heard of CNP but the price puts me off.

Brand wise this is what I go for:
Pre-workout - BSN NO-Xplode
Whey Protein - Anything with a decent content
Casein Protein - Only used PhD Casein Peptide and that was brilliant, would definitely use again!!

The creatine I'm trying is MyProtein and I'm sure it will be fine. I'm going to cycle it on alternate weeks to pre-workout. I might start another thread and post before/after shots..

CNP is expensive but some times you can get the odd bargain. Their protein bars and flapjacks were especially nice. Cant remember which protein bar but they did one like a Snickers but nicer it was amazing.

I m sure you use http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; anyway.

I've used them more often than not - really good prices all the time!

I don't tend to buy the bars and flapjacks etc though, they're expensive and typically not very enjoyable. I do have the SIS electrolyte gels though - they're very good after intense cardio or swimming!
