On the public highway pedestrians have the first right of way.
On a cycle track I would be jousting mofos out of the way.

Cleaned up the firework casings after putting on a little display last night, I leave them out in the cold and damp to make sure there is no fire risk in the bin.
Went to the doctors for a blood test ahead of my diabetic review next week and a shopping trip for my parents on my way home then changed the headlight bulbs on the car and tried to fix the sticking passenger mirror. The part that's wearing out is a sealed unit and not cheap... Turning off the auto-fold in the settings is much cheaper.

Heading to work. Had to go via Melbourne and second leg had been delayed multiple times. Now won’t get into Darwin till 11.20pm and I have to check in for my Timor flight at 4.30am tomorrow morning. Great lead up to a night shift swing

I'm off to see The Streets. I'm a casual fan but a mate had a ticket become spare so I took him up on the offer.

It's cold and wet outside, so I'm going to spend the day sat on my arse watching TV and drinking tea.

Ditto....
Spend last night with some old pals, some not seen for over 20 years.... Beer, banter, curry, with a bucket load of sides dishes from my youth lol and a mega game of Risk....
So today, my delicate body and banging head is doing feck all today.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Been catching up on some sleep and a shopping trip for my parents, then De-Farkling my neighbours S1000XR, he's only had it a year but when he took it to Scotland it was a literal pain in the arse even with the comfort seat... He's had a ride on the new 1300GS and fell for it immediately, they're collecting the XR tomorrow, he gets his new bike on March the 1st.
I told him that I'm going to put a little Guinea Pig sticker on it somewhere That's probably not going to happen

Re: What are you doing today ??
It was cold, wet, and very very muddy outside.....
So I went MX-ing (sort of)
Mainly with the camera this morning, but used the bike to get about. The afternoon I was riding up on the enduro track and ended the day with a couple of laps of the MX track.. only dropped it twice. I consider that a win as one of the marshalls said it would probably be better to give it a miss as track conditions were tough going.
I wasn't that far off the track honest..

I've had to go in to the office. It was pissing it down. I took the car. I'm a fair weather rider now.
I was awake at 5.20 so I'm already knackered.

Going over to the woods at the edge of the village as they're running a trials event again.
Bit of camera time and watching skillful riders ride very slowly.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I recently joined the company Charity Committee group and last night we put on the quiz night. It went really well and I had organised for 2x DBS checked people to sit in with kids and a couple of movies in a side room while parents could unwind and laugh with similar age humans.
All in all it was a success with a few hundred pound being raised for the two charities we supported for the last 2 years.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Swapping onto night shifts for my last week. Was supposed to be on nights this trip but ended up covering days due to staffing issues. Got about 4 hours sleep after my day shift and now been up since 2am. Try to get down again about 10am and start shift at 6pm!
The win was no one is on the wifi at 2am so I was able to steam the Qatar GP and finally catch up on that.
