Used the bike yesterday and today for night shift. Bloody hell i was literally dripping wet by tge time i got home. If we didnt have showers at work then i wouldnt bother using the bike for work. Both days been 31 degrees. Unsure how kiwi and the other Oz lads do it in that temp! However great for tyres! Not so bad if its all fast roads but in traffic behind lorries and cars it really has done me in

However i have proper enjoyed it. There was a Porsche today coming off the slip road from the motorway, he took the outside lane, think he thought he would do me as he stamped on it, i was a little naughty and went on the inside, then he git stuck in traffic as i filtered through it all!

Riding back home got into town so i filtered to the front. Sat in front of but to the side of a car. As the car in front of me started tl pull away the guy behind me got angry and decided he was going to squeeze next to me and intimidate me. As i turned around the geezer was screaming and shouting saying 'get off you bike' 'get off your bike' while still literally cm's away from me. Geniunely could not believe it, it was not even 8am and someone could get wound up as quickly as that. I obvislously started back 'whats your f'ing problem etc?' Got through town and he and then backed off.

Some car drivers see it as queue jumping - you've pinched their place. I really don't know why they get het up about it.

Yesterday morning I had a woman try to cut me up on a roundabout after I had filtered past her at some lights. You just get your head down and get out of their way.

Legal question Also on way home

Before town and the stupid tw@

Busy road especially at just before 8am. 40mph road, wide road with plenty of room. Brand new homes built where a lovely bit of countryside marvelled.

School bus parked up on the opposite side (well a bus which the school kids use to and from school as well). Cars overtaking the bus (wide road can get 2 cars side by side and a bus quite nicely with room to spare for a bike (if wanted)

School kid popped out, notices the bus at the stop on the other side. Her face was worried (as i noticed her and i wondered what she'd do) she didnt look like she saw me (pretty difficult not to with a bright coloured bike and bright everything else that i wore, but hey ho.

Car behind me wasnt far but id say normal for a 40mph road at a busy time

Coming on to my question now!!

The girl didnt seem to look, like i said she didnt notice me or at least ot didn't look lile that more looking at the bus.

She looked the wrong way down the road and started to move. I heard a beep and looked back she managed to get into the middle of the road with cars either side of her. Guessing the driver had to slam on his breaks and surve (lile i say its a wide road so have wiggle room) as when i got to the 30 i had to stary filtering.

What if the driver had an incident?

Its not nice to think about but i know she didnt look at all. Where would the driver stand for that? Apart from being a very emotionally unstable person after such an incident with a young kid.

(Facepalm) some true nobheads out there, these people need to read the highway code!

The bloke in the car this morning i thought was going to get out, going crazy! I can see why some riders loose their sh!t and smash a wing mirror off!
