Got it wet, again. The forecast for the week looks crap.

The bike is going in tomorrow for a service and to complete the installation of the various parts you get with the bike including the top box, 12v socket, heated grips and fog lights.

Sadly I fear you're right. I've still got the warm lining in my trousers.

I might ask for a demo ride anyway, seeing as I didn't get a go today.

It's worth it just for giggles. It's like a BMX with an engine :)

That's the same thing people say about the Street Triple.

Had a call from the dealer asking if they can keep the bike for a bit longer. They could get it ready by 6pm if I need it, but I don't and I'm happy for them to do the work at their own pace, rather than rushing to finish it. I've got a demo bike so it's not a problem.

I'll collect it tomorrow after work.

Yesterday had a play at Castle Combe. A little wet and greasy in the way up until I got to Castle Combe and realised the track was soaking wet!! Luckily it dried out for the morning and during lunch it started peeing it down do I went out to try the track out in the rain with standing water and did most of the session but I came in a little earlier and realised that was the time to go. Had 3-4 sessions out which was great so I left with a smile on my face that's all I asked for! Job done!!

So long as you enjoy it the weather doesn't really matter

But it would be nice if the rain could wait until I'm at work.

I don't think the weather knows it's the middle of May.

It's a bit weird riding with a large top box, each time I looked in my mirrors I thought I was being followed :D

I need to get a new cover. The one I bought a few weeks ago isn't big enough for the bike now it's got the rear box plate

At least it was dry this morning, which makes a change.

The spotlights make a difference, cars are spotting me much sooner now.

I got drenched on the way home.

I took the linings out of my trousers. I thought they were just the winter linings. I was wrong. It's the waterproofing as well. Ooopss.

Are you sure that's it, - not that you forgot to relieve yourself before you set off.? ;)

I would have been warmer if that was the case.
