It's the Coconut Tree. I fancied Sri Lankan food and there's one close to where my daughter lives

Fly out day! Home tomorrow lunchtime
Not that bad a swing apart from getting crook but still keen to get the f**k out of here.
Had a town hall while I was out here. Best estimate is I’ll be made redundant Aug/sept this year. We are barely trickling now. Very likely to be closed in by the time I get back in a month.

Did some work, walked the dog, cleaned out a fish tank, watched a film. I was tempted to take the bike out but decided to go for a long walk instead.

I'm trying to figure out a Neil Giraldo guitar solo for a friend, and I honestly CBA with it. The gazillion how-to versions on YouTube aren't good enough??

20-mile bicycle ride & I feel knackered beyond belief.
I think I might be dying.
Goodbye cruel world.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yesterday…
Took Jess and the kids (minus Byron) to a secret hidden waterfall swim hole not too far from us.
10 km low range 4WD in, the a 2km walk..
Well that term “walk” doesn’t really describe it adequately 2km but a 250m elevation drop so pretty bloody steep. Took 1.5 hrs to get down as Jess was pretty nervous going down (so lots of waiting). Getting out was only an hour as the others were more confident climb up so not as many delays.
For me it was worth it. No one else agrees
Beautiful clean swim hole and little waterfall surrounded by blocky sandstone cliffs and bush setting.
Little story related to this trip in “what ails you” cause it’s me after all

That first photo, the place almost looks too perfect, like a movie set.

Re: What are you doing today ??
It’s pretty unreal to be honest. The photo doesn’t even do it justice. I’m definitely climbing down into there again (once my back allows it)
